Vivaro VanVans are versatile vehicles; they are used in the transportation of commodities. They are used in the everyday world by builders, plumbers, electricians and many other businesses all over the world. One of these businesses happens to be the removal trade in which vans are leased out or hired out with a removal agent. The removal agent(s) will then start to pack and load items carefully into the van and travel between the place you are moving from to your new home, In which again they will unload all the articles from the van into the new property.

How to Lease a Van

When leasing a van you may be required to produce proof of identity; for example your driver’s license and a confirmation of address such as a utility bill. Different companies charge different amounts for the lease of the vehicles and services.

Transit Vans

The Ford Transit is a range of panel vans and minibuses, produced by the Ford Motor Company in Europe. The Transit has been the best-selling light commercial vehicle in Europe for 45 years. Over 5,000,000 Transits have been produced since 1965 across three basic platforms with several "facelift" versions of each type.

The Ford Transit Van

The latest transit van to roll of out of the ford factory was introduced with styling cues from Ford's "New Edge" designs like the Ford Focus, and Ford Ka. Developed by Ford in the U.S.A, the main innovation and advantage is that you have the choice of either front or rear-wheel drive. This model features the Ford Puma's "Duratorq" turbo diesel engine also used in the 2000 Mondeo, with the petrol versions moving up to a whopping 2.3 L 16-Valve edition of the DOHC engine. This Transit can hit 60 mph in 21 seconds and reach a top speed of 93 mph.

The Durashift EST automatic transmission optional on all rear-wheel drive and standard on the 2.4 L, 125 bhp features controls mounted on the dashboard, a specially adapted manual mode, tow-haul mode, economy mode and winter mode. A Few years later Ford introduced the Ford Transit Connect, a smaller panel van aimed at replacing the Ford Escort and Fiesta based van models.

The Vauxhall Vivaro

The Vauxhall Vivaro - is a medium-sized light commercial vehicle originally launched in 2001, and is available in panel van, minibus, combined bus/van and platform-cab configurations. Two wheelbases and two roof heights are available, as well as three diesel engines and a petrol engine.

The vehicle resulted from a joint venture between General Motors and French manufacturer Renault, and is also sold as the Renault Trafic and by their ally Nissan as the Nissan Primastar. The vehicle is primarily manufactured at GMM Luton Vehicles in England, and also by Nissan at their Zona Franca facility in Barcelona.

The vehicle is distinguished by its somewhat flamboyant and unconventional front design, compared with its more traditional competitors such as the smaller variants of the Ford Transit and Volkswagen Transporter. The vehicle has been an incredible success across Europe and has resulted in successful large fleet deals with Deutsche Post and British Telecom.

The Vauxhall Vivaro won the Professional Van and Light Truck Magazine Van of the Year 2006 Award, having been judged against competitors by a panel of van users, buyers and asset management professionals.
