As the government and most of the country are trying to become more environmentally friendly getting rid of your garden waste correctly is of high importance. There are many local council’s that are now collecting garden waste as well as normal refuse so that it can be disposed of correctly. As well as this many are providing locals with compost bins so they can compost any biodegradable waste they may have.
Some information on the different ways you can dispose of garden waste and the service that many garden waste removal firms provide is below.
Garden Removals by Professionals
There are firms that provide complete garden waste removal services, this is extremely helpful for those that would struggle to get rid of the waste on their own. These companies are also useful to those that struggle to find time to carry out the gardening or are unable to physically do it any more. This is because not only do they remove the entire garden waste they usually provide an actual gardening service as well. So this means they can clear your garden for you if it has become extremely over grown or you are unable to do it any more. Then once they have removed all the plants and any other waste that may be in your garden they take the garden waste to a suitable disposal point. These type of services are useful for those that are moving house either for their old garden so it is clear and hopefully make it easier to sell or for the new house they move to if it is slightly over grown or poorly maintained.
What Happens To Garden Waste Once its Removed
After the garden has been cleared of all waste and is collected by the removal team the waste is then taken to a site where they will turn the waste into compost. These sites are usually separate to the normal waste dump as all items in the compost dump must be biodegradable. Once the waste has started to turn into compost it is sent to the compost production sites for processing and is then used on public gardens and often sold to garden centres.
With waste that is taken by the council there are only certain things that will be taken such as small twigs, grass cuttings and hedges trimmings where as with the private companies they can take any garden waste that there may be.
